Peter Slater is a professional artist who has been running his own business

since 1993 after having previously pursued a career in banking and

financial services.

 

Within 3 months of starting this venture he was fortunate enough to obtain a substantial contract to paint 56 pictures and 9 murals for a new multi million pound hospital wing. Since this early success he has undertaken artowrk for banks and gained numerous private commissions.

 

Peter has been a finalist in the Sunday Times Watercolour Exhibition on four seperate occasions (1999, 2001, 2005 & 2010).

 

Since 2002 and every year since he has been a painting leader for HF Holidays and has worked in La Gomera for Holiday Property Bond for their painting theme weeks.

 

Other activitives have included demonstrations in watercolour techniques and art related talks to societies, luncheon clubs and professional organisations.

 

For the last 10 years Peter has primarily been an outdoor painter and his work reflects this approach to his art.
